The Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce was founded in 1831 and represents more than 80,000 companies of all sizes and almost every branch from industry, wholesale and retail trade, logistics and services around and in the city of Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf is the capital of Germany’s largest state North Rhine-Westphalia and is located in the center of Europeís biggest agglomeration. 50% of the EU purchasing power and nearly one third of the EU population exist within a 500 km circle around Düsseldorf. The region is one of the most international places in Germany with a special orientation towards Asia. More than 12,000 companies from 120 countries have set up a business in the chamber district so far.
